Bessenbach (dpa / lby) – A week after a deadly argument in Bessenbach, Lower Franconia, the trigger for the act of violence is still unclear. “It is not yet known what the dispute between the accused and the victim was about,” the public prosecutor’s office in Aschaffenburg said on Tuesday. The victim, a 61-year-old woman, died of heart and respiratory failure. “No information can yet be given about the murder weapon, as not all witnesses have been heard.” The 73-year-old suspect did not provide any information about the crime during his interrogation.

The man is said to have killed the 61-year-old on June 28 during an argument in his apartment. He is in custody on suspicion of manslaughter. It is unclear whether the two were a couple.
