Munich (dpa / lby) – No snow, but initially a lot of rain: Anyone who hoped for a white Christmas this year will be disappointed. According to a forecast by the German Weather Service (DWD), there should be double-digit plus degrees on December 24th in Bavaria.
Accordingly, it could get up to 14 degrees warm on the Inn and thus more spring-like than wintry. The DWD expects a lot of rain in the Alps. A stormy southwest wind is also expected in some areas, which will start on Friday.
On Christmas Day, the rain showers should subside and it should get a little cooler again – but according to the DWD, there is no snow in sight. On the second day of Christmas, many clouds are supposed to move over the Free State. Temperatures are forecast to be between four and seven degrees during the day.
