Nabburg (dpa / lby) – According to his own statements, a truck driver left the Autobahn 93 in the Upper Palatinate because of a coughing fit. The 61-year-old said he even fainted briefly from the coughing attack, the police said on Tuesday. On Monday he broke through a wildlife fence and a hedge near Nabburg (Schwandorf district) with his semi-trailer and finally came to a stop after about 300 meters in a cornfield. The man was unharmed, police said.
