Parsberg (dpa / lby) – A trailer truck loaded with gravel crashed into a van on the A3 near Parsberg (Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz) and overturned. The van rolled over, as a police spokesman announced on Thursday. The moderately injured drivers were taken to a hospital with two helicopters on Wednesday afternoon. The 22 and 38-year-old passengers in the van were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The van with a trailer had engine damage and rolled towards the parking lot with the hazard warning lights on. The 53-year-old truck driver apparently overlooked him. The property damage was initially estimated at around 80,000 euros. Transporters and trailers are completely destroyed. The freeway was partly completely blocked for the rescue.
