Munich (dpa / lby) – A truck got stuck under a railway bridge in Munich on Thursday. Such accidents occur, for example, when the driver is not aware of the height of their own vehicle or does not heed the appropriate warning signs, said a police spokesman. The Rosenheimer Landstraße was closed for the duration of the rescue.

How long it takes before the road can be used again depends on how stuck the vehicle is, said the police spokesman. As a rule, you first try to get the load off the truck and let the air out of the tires. In some cases, the bridge must then be examined by structural engineers for more serious damage.
