Plattling (dpa / lby) – A truck driver died in an accident in Plattling (Deggendorf district). The 57-year-old left the road with his truck for reasons that have not yet been clarified and drove into an adjacent field on Friday afternoon, the police said. There the vehicle, including the trailer loaded with sugar beet, tipped over onto the passenger side. Despite immediately initiated resuscitation measures, the man died at the scene of the accident.
