Tirschenreuth (dpa / lby) – Two people were seriously injured in an accident in the Tirschenreuth district when their car left the road and hit the front in a ditch. Rescue workers had to resuscitate the 38-year-old passenger on Monday afternoon, the police said on Tuesday. She and the 39-year-old driver of the car were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
According to the police, it was initially unclear why the 39-year-old lost control of the car on state road 2167 from Tirschenreuth in the direction of the Czech border. After the impact, the car only came to a standstill 50 meters away in a meadow.
