Rothenburg ob der Tauber (dpa / lby) – A wheelchair user was hit by a truck in Central Franconia and injured. The 75-year-old was in Rothenburg ob der Tauber (Ansbach district) briefly under the front of the semitrailer and was trapped, the police said on Thursday. The woman was walking on a footpath and cycle path on Wednesday when the truck driver drove off and failed to see her. Passers-by got the woman out from under the truck, and the 75-year-old was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
