Bavaria: Young family illegally entered the freight train

Munich (dpa / lby) – The federal police picked up a young family who had previously jumped off a freight train. As the police announced on Thursday, Deutsche Bahn employees observed how four people jumped off the train at the marshalling yard in the north of Munich and ran away. The freight train had traveled to Munich via the Brenner Pass and Austria during the night until morning. The police picked up the young family on Thursday as they were about to get into a taxi. The couple could not produce any identification for themselves or their two children. According to their own statements, the couple came from Turkey and were 26 and 25 years old, the children are four and two years old. The family was referred to an initial reception facility. The police are investigating illegal entry.
