Pfarrkirchen (dpa / lby) – On the trotting track in Pfarrkirchen (Rottal-Inn district) there was a serious accident with a young horse running through on Monday. Two trainers wanted to try the horse in front of the sulky, the police said on Monday. When the animal bolted, one of the men was thrown from the vehicle and then hit by the horse in the head. The 47-year-old had to be flown to the hospital in a rescue helicopter with serious injuries. According to the first findings, there is no danger to life. The second man and the horse were unharmed.
