Hof (dpa / lby) – When trying to steal clothes a second time in a shop in Upper Franconia, a young person wore the jogging suit that had been stolen there the day before and was immediately recognized by the employees. During a search of the 16-year-old’s backpack on Tuesday, the police discovered both the sales tag on the stolen jogging suit and a top that the youth wanted to steal from the shop in Hof that day.
When the jogging suit was stolen on Monday, the alarm was triggered, but the teenager was able to escape. The 16-year-old had to hand in the stolen top and jogging suit worn on the body. His mother brought him a change of clothes when she picked him up at the office, a spokesman for the Hof police inspection reported on Wednesday.
Officials opened two shoplifting charges.
