Nuremberg (dpa / lby) – The Nuremberg Ice Tigers are relying on striker Elis Hede until the end of the season. The club from the German Ice Hockey League has extended the contract with the 21-year-old Finn, which was originally due to end at the end of the year, until the end of this season. This was announced by the people of Nuremberg on Wednesday. Hede moved to Franken from HIFK in Helsinki at the beginning of October. He has scored four goals and provided three assists in 19 games for the Ice Tigers.
“Elis was completely convincing during his time in Nuremberg and showed that he is a valuable player for us despite his young age. We are happy to be able to keep him for the entire season,” said sporting director Stefan Ustorf.
