Nuremberg (dpa / lby) – Midfielder Lino Tempelmann from 1. FC Nuremberg considers the 2nd Bundesliga to be more balanced in the coming season. “Because these really big names are out with Schalke and Bremen,” said the 23-year-old, who is on loan from SC Freiburg to the “Club” until the summer of 2023. “But it will still be a very well-stocked league. We have to fight for our place and do as well as possible,” added the right-footed player at the start of training on Monday.
Tempelmann’s personal highlight in the coming season will be the Franconia derby against SpVgg Greuther Fürth, who have been relegated to the Bundesliga. “I’m really looking forward to it and I hope that we can make both games positive.”
