Regensburg (dpa / lby) – SSV Jahn Regensburg has terminated the contract with midfielder Björn Zempelin. This was announced by the second division soccer team on Tuesday. At the player’s request, the contract, which originally ran until the end of June 2023, was canceled. Homegrown Zempelin initially wants to take a break. “I will now focus on my psychology studies and take a break from football for the time being,” he said. Zempelin has already said goodbye to the team. He only made three second division appearances for SSV Jahn.
