Straubing (dpa / lby) – The Straubing Tigers have committed defender Benedikt Kohl for another season in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). As announced by Lower Bavaria on Friday, the 34-year-old is entering his fourth season with the Tigers. In 135 games for Straubing so far, the native of Berchtesgaden has scored 35 points.
“Benedikt is an experienced defender who brings stability and calm to our defence. The whole team and especially our younger players benefit from his many years of experience,” praised Straubing’s sporting director, Jason Dunham.
