Wolfsburg (dpa / lby) – The top game in the women’s Bundesliga between VfL Wolfsburg and FC Bayern Munich takes place in the Volkswagen Arena, where the men usually play. This was announced by the German champions and cup winners on Thursday. The fifth match day takes place on the weekend of October 21-23, the exact schedule has not yet been determined.
The VfL team coached by Tommy Stroot and the runners-up from Bavaria are considered the top contenders for the title in the Bundesliga. This will open this Friday (7:15 p.m./MagentaSport and Eurosport) with the match between Eintracht Frankfurt and FC Bayern, also in a large arena (Deutsche Bank Park).
