Hollywood star Alec Baldwin’s family is growing and growing: his wife Hilaria has just announced the birth of little Ilaria Catalina Irena. The girl is the seventh child of the two. For the actor it is even the eighth offspring.
Another offspring for Hilaria and Alec Baldwin: As the yoga teacher announced on Saturday via Instagram, she gave birth to little Ilaria Catalina Irena on Thursday. In the post, the Hollywood star’s wife also revealed that the little girl was born weighing just over seven pounds. “She’s here! We’re so excited to introduce you to our little dream come true,” Hilaria wrote on a short video from the delivery room.
In it you can see: The overjoyed mother with the newly born baby on her chest. The clip was garnished with some photos of the family, including Alec Baldwin and the other children, welcoming the new member into their home. “She and I are both healthy. Lots of love to you all,” Baldwin continues in her post.
Alec Baldwin and his wife are already parents to Carmen (8), Rafael (7), Leonardo (5), Romeo (4) and Eduardo (1). Their youngest child together, Lucia (also 1), was born via surrogacy. In June 2022, Hilaria announced she was pregnant with baby number seven, sharing an ultrasound image with her followers.
Alec Baldwin also has 26-year-old daughter Ireland Baldwin from his marriage to colleague Kim Basinger. However, in 2002, Basinger and Baldwin divorced. In 2012 he married the yoga teacher Hilaria Thomas, and a little over a year later their first child was born.
Alec Baldwin hasn’t worked as an actor since the tragedy on the set of the western Rust, which killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. According to media reports, however, he should be seen in a Broadway production in a few months. The fatal accident on the set still haunts Baldwin, according to his own statement. In August, he said in a CNN interview: “For her to die is the worst thing of all. Somebody died and it could have been avoided. It was so unnecessary. Every day of my life I think about it.”
