The agency charged with protecting kids from abusive houses in Los Angeles County has failed to comment to a situation Wednesday where a mother supposedly viciously stabbed to death her three kids.
In a statement to Fox News, the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), the most significant child protective services agency in the country, said state law prohibits it from commenting on if or not a child or family was involved with the division.

The children’s father, Erik Denton, petitioned a court for custody March 1, alleging Carrillo was delusional and had taken the children and refused to inform him where they had been. In response, she filed a restraining order against him and promised that he may have mistreated the eldest kid.
Last Sunday was likely to be only his second trip with the children under the new program.
“I’m afraid for my children’s physical and psychological well-being,” Denton wrote in court documents.
The DCFS announcement said it couldn’t comment on its function however mourned the loss of these kids.
“The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services unites the community in mourning the loss of their 3 kids at Reseda,” a DCFS announcement to Fox News reads. “State law protects the confidentiality of documents for many families and children who might have come to the attention of child protective services, also prohibits affirming or commenting on if or not a child or family was involved with the section.”
It added that regulations are set up to safeguard the privacy of kids, families and grandparents as they try to solve disputes.
Denton’s court filings tell of Carrillo’s post-partum depression after the birth of the middle child. She started treatment but quit. She self-medicated with bud, he maintained. In social and texts networking articles, she said things like”I wish I never had children” and threatened to kill herself.
Carrillo also thought she had been”solely responsible” to its coronavirus pandemic, Denton composed, and she believed that Porterville, the Tulare County town where he, Carrillo and the kids had dwelt, was home to some”giant sexual trafficking ring”
In late February, her behaviour worsened, court records reveal. During an outing in the playground, their oldest girl had dropped and landed her groin region and after explained it hurt. Carrillo thought the pain was Denton molesting a claim he denied. He said she had been assessed by a physician who found no signs of misuse Carrillo said the exam was not comprehensive enough.
At one stage, she threatened to take the children to Mexico, where she’s family.
DCFS was criticized lately because of its alleged failure to protect kids from violent homes. Four child protective employees were originally charged with child abuse and penalizes documents linked to the 2013 departure of Gabriel Fernandez, 8, who died after being tortured and beaten by his mother and her boyfriend.
The boy, Isauro Aguirre, was sentenced to death.
The charges against the social workers were finally dropped.
