Los Zigarros, Rodrigo Cuevas and J de Los Planetas stand out among the protagonists of Inverfest, the festival that celebrates its tenth edition and that after starting at the end of last year, begins 2024 with another two months of live music.
In total, there will be more than 100 performances and musical activities, cinema and family shows that will reach more than a dozen venues and halls in the capital, as well as Pozuelo de Alarcón and Fuenlabrada, as the organization recalls in a statement.
Among the spaces that will debut this 2024 at Inverfest is The Music Station, which will host seven concerts until January 14.
The double date with Los Zigarros will take over. After selling out their show on January 12, the Valencian band announced a second date, January 11, for which they are also about to sell out. Two live shows in which you can enjoy the songs from their fifth album, Acantilados.
All tickets available to date for concerts and different events can be purchased on the official Inverfest website.
On January 13, the 20th anniversary of McEnroe, one of the most special groups on the national scene, will be celebrated. Those from Getxo have just swept their tour through Mexico and at Inverfest they will unpack the songs from their extensive repertoire, which includes six works full of slow-cooking hits.
With a double sold out, Rodrigo Cuevas, National Prize for Current Music, will be present to present his latest album Manual de romería on January 13 and 14. An extroverted, ambitious, happy and danceable show, like all those by the Asturian, expert in creating spaces of celebration and communion where we feel sovereign, lovers and libertines, free of prejudices.
There will also be fun for the little ones in the house. With 15 years of experience and more than 2,000 live shows, the Argentine group Canticuénticos visits Spain for the first time on January 14. The band combines fun with deep emotions, bringing the whole family together to sing, play and dance through live music, humor and poetry.
The first week of programming at the Teatro Circo Price starts on Saturday, January 13 with a live performance by Ede. After more than 20 concerts throughout the peninsula and more than seven million views on her debut album, the artist closes the Lucero presentation tour in band format at Inverfest, in a very special concert full of guests such as Pedro Guerra, Las Maralas , Clara Peya and Maddy Beyton.
For its part, J de Los Planetas inaugurates the film-concert cycle with its project Plena Pausa, an album that has been included in almost all the lists of the best of 2023. A declared fan of Iván Zulueta, he will offer a musicalization of films at Inverfest unpublished works by the San Sebastian filmmaker, in a performance in which he will be accompanied by Srta. Trueno Negro, Miguel Martín, Miguel López, Roberto Escudero and Jaime Stinus.
And on the Hyundai Stage in the Siroco room, the festival will once again focus on the talent of emerging bands and artists. Thus, in this tenth edition of Inverfest you will be able to enjoy, among others, the fresh songs with a social message by Flecha Valona and her new album Los Días Pasar, this Thursday, January 11; the rage and overwhelming energy of Pinpilinpussies, presenting their recent EP ‘EZ/NO’ on January 12; the sensibility and post-rock sound of Tu Suerte, who will offer a staging on January 13 where visuals and music will share the spotlight; or the immersive electronics of Nico B., who will also feature Ruptura’s DJ set to open his concert on January 14.
