The accident of a tourist train in the vicinity of Pontarlier (Doubs), this Saturday resulted in several minor injuries for the thirty passengers. This is according to the Republican East.

It was around 1 p.m. when the Coni’Fer experienced a sudden shock. The reason for this shock is still unknown and will require further investigation. Our colleagues have however suggested that the brakes were malfunctioning.

Along with three crew members, 27 passengers were aboard. According to the provisional report by the gendarmerie, only a few injuries should be regretted.

A large fire brigade was deployed in Hopitaux-Vieux to deal with the accident.
