Guns N’Roses have cancelled their Glasgow show, less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled start.
The US’s most famous rockers were scheduled to perform at Glasgow Green on Tuesday.
According to the band, they will no longer be performing “due to medical advice and illness”.
This comes just weeks after Red Hot Chili Peppers pulled out of their gig at Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park.
The band released a statement through event promoter DF Concerts saying: “Sadly, GNR will no longer be able perform in Glasgow tomorrow due to illness and medical advice.
“We are currently looking at rescheduling options to this show so please keep your tickets.”
This cancellation comes after two London shows at Tottenham Stadium on Friday, Saturday. Some fans complained about sound problems.
Axl Rose was the band’s lead singer. The Covid pandemic had already caused them to reschedule their European tour dates twice.
DF Concerts stated that ticket holders will be contacted to confirm a new date for the event.
This weekend, the TRNSMT music festival is being promoted by DF Concerts and will be held at Glasgow Green.
