The alleged perpetrator of the murder of Alfredo Ogando Uceta in the Navarrese town of Villava on January 15 has been arrested at the Madrid airport when he returned from the Dominican Republic, his country of origin, to which he apparently fled shortly after.
Agents of the National Police and the Foral Police have carried out the arrest on Monday at the Adolfo Suárez-Madrid Barajas airport and the detainee will be made available to the head of the Examining Court number 4 of Pamplona this Thursday as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of homicide or murder, according to judicial sources.
The events took place in the early morning of January 15 at the Landazabal industrial estate in Villava, where Alfredo Ogando Uceta, a 48-year-old Dominican of origin and known as ‘Gualey’, died, killed with a knife.
At that time, it was indicated that the alleged murderer, also of foreign origin and domiciled in Mutilva (Navarra), fled the place after committing the acts and his whereabouts were unknown.
Days later, the Provincial Police arrested another man who allegedly collaborated with the perpetrator of the crime, who was charged with a crime of homicide/murder as a necessary collaborator.
