The residents of a block in Arucas, in Gran Canaria, have been living a nightmare for years. A horror story because of an extremely aggressive neighbor who, daily, threatens them with a knife in hand and attacks their homes with dirty water that she pours into a bucket on their doors. Panic has led some to abandon their homes. They have up to 12 complaints and social services have already taken action on the matter.
According to some neighbors, this woman is extremely aggressive. She lives on the first floor and has come to stab the door of one of the residents in the building. The neighbors are tired of the situation and denounce the impotence they suffer since nobody does anything for them: “If the lady is sick, take her away and admit her somewhere,” says a neighbor of the block.
Residents and their families live in terror. “I don’t even sleep anymore, I dream of her. I have her in my head,” says one of the tenants, who affirms that her parents do not come to see her at her house for fear of meeting her neighbor.
Others have decided to stop living in the building in the face of continued threats. “I fear for my life and that of my children,” says a neighbor who left her lifelong house four years ago after her neighbor repeatedly told her that she was going to kill him.
