Max and Jörg ask for the first saliva exchange on their farms. Since late bloomer Michael N. can not quite keep up. Namesake Michael K., on the other hand, leaves nothing to chance. Right on the first day, the hormones dance in the Bergisches Land water ballet.
Cupid rubs his hands, Inka’s eyes widen and at home in front of the screen the first regulars’ table analyzes are already in full swing. After the first sniffing, some farms are now entering the second phase. In addition to basic mutual sympathy, the hoped-for “butterfly feeling” is now pushing more and more into the foreground.
Young farmer Max from the Palatinate now has his Anna firmly on the hook. After the spontaneous naming of two neglected goats in this respect and a convivial lunch with the family, during which Max’s cheeky father explains without hesitation how to nurture and maintain a long-term relationship (“enough and good sex!”), they land both arm in arm on a lonely wooden bench in the countryside, first kiss included.
At Nurse cow owner Jörg in Hesse, the first kiss was a few days ago. With his Patricia, the tall farmer is already one step further: “I have a lot of butterflies in my stomach,” rejoices Jörg, while his lady-in-waiting is not overwhelmed by her emotions for the first time: “Never before has a man cared so much about me taken care of,” sobs the infatuated blonde.
The first emotions are also knocking at the gates on the farms of cheese maker Arne and vintage car fan Ulf. Arne impresses his Antje with all-encompassing nutritional knowledge. Whether cheese, milk or yoghurt: the farmer with his own cheese dairy knows his stuff. On Ulf’s rural property, the landlord scores primarily with his knowledge of mobility. Court lady Anna Lina tries to absorb all the information “like a sponge”. In the afternoon, the farmer proudly stands in front of the sheer infinity of his farm’s own “savannah” and treats his companion to a romantic picnic break: “She’s not just here to work,” grins the farmer.
The subject of “work” plays a very special role on the farm of cattle farmer Michael N. in Lower Saxony. Here, however, the two ladies-in-waiting, Christine and Mandy, would much rather know which lady the head of the court’s heart “especially burns for”. The cow expert with the mischievous grin, who is always “slightly overwhelmed” from time to time, is not quite sure of himself. The twitching shoulders of the sister and brother-in-law don’t help either.
At horse landlady Loretta, the farm week starts with an impressive sheep drive. With her two well-behaved herding dogs on a leash, the farmer’s wife has everything under control. The two lords of the court, Michael and Sascha, couldn’t help but be amazed: “That was pretty impressive,” enthuses Sascha, a hobby rabble-rouser. Late starter Michael K. finally joins the race for the perfect love affair and leaves no doubt right from the start that he doesn’t want to be the last to cross the finish line. “Rapid heartbeat and outbreaks of sweat” accompany the Simmental breeder to the station just as much as a reception cow scrubbed to a high gloss.
Jan Hendrik is visibly impressed when he discovers the four-legged pick-up squad: “I’ve never taken a cow for a walk,” explains the native South African. Shortly thereafter, in the sweat-drenched Bergisches Land, a first cool down is required. Armed with two water hoses, Michael and Jan go all out: “My hose is longer!” the lord trumpeted. Jan Hendrik countered with a lascivious smile on his face: “You don’t know that!” said the guest. At least now it’s clear: things could get really hot in the 27-year-old’s yard in the next few days.
