According to initial estimates, a fire in an industrial hall in the Upper Palatinate caused property damage of over two million euros. The fire broke out on Saturday morning in the hall in Sulzbach-Rosenberg (Amberg-Sulzbach district), the police said. The cause initially remained unclear. According to the police, however, there is no evidence of intentional or negligent arson.
Nobody was injured. Three companies are based in the now completely burned down hall in the commercial area. Around 150 emergency services were on site. Among other things, an excavator with a gripper and a telehandler were used.
