Four former SUNY Polytechnic Institute employees who were fired back in November received a total of  nearly $115,000 in lump sum payments in exchange for their silence.

The agreements, which was first reported by The Alt, were signed by Gerry Gretzinger, SUNY Poly’s former spokesman, along with Christine Waller, Carl Kempf and Dinna Eskin.

The separation agreements, which The Alt obtained from the Research Foundation for SUNY through the state’s Freedom of Information Law, also bar the four from filing lawsuits against their former employer.

All four were paid through the Research Foundation, which manages grant money for SUNY schools.

Gretzinger received the largest lump sum at $39,629, according to the documents, which The Alt posted online.
