The Kings League already managed to fill the FC Barcelona stadium last March with 92,522 spectators witnessing the first Final Four in the history of this football-show competition. Now comes the time to meet the second champion and the first winner in the history of the Oysho Queens League. It will be in July at the Atlético de Madrid stadium, the Cívitas Metropolitano, where a full house is also expected.
The 7-a-side soccer tournament devised by Gerard Piqué and Ibai Llanos has proven to be quite a phenomenon since its launch. The formula for success lies in that mix of content creators and former footballers, as well as in a competition format with rules that only add spiciness to the show.
The 12 teams that make up the regular Kings League are led by streamers and former footballers. On one side are TheGrefg, Perxitaa, DjMaRiiO or Adri Contreras, the latter winner of the first final four with El Barrio. On the other side we find football stars like Iker Casillas or Kun Agüero. And enrolled in the teams it has been possible to see players like Chicharito Hernández, Raúl Tamudo, Joan Capdevila, Sergio García or Ronaldhino himself.
In the female version of the competition, the Queens League, we find content creators Gemita, Morena Beltrán, Mayichi or Noe9977.
The eight best classified at the end of the competition will play the Kings League playoff. And the same will happen with the Queens League. The Final Four will be held on Saturday, July 29, at the Cívitas Metropolitano, with a capacity for 69,000 spectators, in a day where there will be no shortage of musical performances and other surprises in the purest Super Bowl style.
