The aircraft took off from the Torrejón de Ardoz Air Base yesterday at eight in the morning and touched down in Tel Aviv just after twelve. In Israel there are still Spaniards with fixed residence in the country, including diplomatic personnel. Around ten thousand people with Spanish passports are registered at the consulate.
