New York Governor Kathy Hochul, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Chirlane McCray, de Blasio’s wife, took photos with Harry and Meghan at One World Trade Center’s 1,268-foot observatory (386-meters) where clouds partially obscured their panoramic view.
Meghan answered a question about her New York trip and said that it was wonderful. Harry asked the same question and replied, “It is wonderful, thankyou.”
The royals didn’t make any further comments.
They enjoyed the view from the 102nd Floor and made their way down to the outside.
Hochul sat down with Meghan, while de Blasio & Harry talked before taking photos in front the building. It is located near the site where the former twin towers of the center were destroyed by terrorists in September 2001.
Harry and Meghan visited the nearby Sept. 11 memorial plaza. They then looked out at the reflecting pool, where one of the towers was, and visited the Sept. 11, museum.
The duke of Denmark and the duchess of Monaco are visiting New York to attend a Global Citizen Live event. They will be calling for vaccine equity.
