“Let’s Dance” audience favorite Ekaterina Leonova is on cloud nine. After all, she’s finally in love again! But who is the man who has conquered “Ekat’s” heart? She still doesn’t reveal that. But she is now revealing a bit about her partner.

For many years, Ekaterina Leonava was one of the regular cast of professional dancers on “Let’s Dance” and blossomed into a crowd favorite. Now again, because after a two-year break, she returned to the RTL show in early 2022.

She was not able to follow up on her earlier successes, which had given her first place on the floor three times in a row between 2017 and 2019. But at least she made it to sixth place together with comedian Bastian Bielendorfer.

It’s been a few months now – this year’s “Let’s Dance” finale took place in May. Nevertheless, the Leonova format is currently keeping it busy, as the stars of the show are currently on a big live tour of Germany. For 22 shows they are on the road for a total of 35 days.

“Now is a good time,” says “Ekat” in an interview with RTL – although she could probably endure it quite well at home at the moment. After all, she revealed a sweet secret about two weeks ago: after several years as a single, the 35-year-old is finally in love again!

“I’ve been in a stable and very beautiful relationship for a few months,” Leonova revealed. Having a partner by her side makes her “very happy and motivates me for more”. But she didn’t reveal who the man who could win her heart was.

As for the identity of her boyfriend, the dancer is still covered. Nevertheless, she unpacks a few more details about her relationship in the RTL interview. “Show business is not his at all,” she explains, looking at her boyfriend. He hasn’t even seen “Let’s Dance” once.

“I think the real Ekat is more important to him than the good dancer on the dance floor. I was also very happy that he didn’t get to know me as the ‘Let’s Dance’ professional dancer Ekat. I think it’s nice that our beginning wasn’t in show business, but in normal life,” Leonova continues to divulge.

And how can you bear the separation from your loved one during the “Let’s Dance” tour? “You text, you talk on the phone. You try to keep in touch. You ask, ‘What’s new?’ But there is nothing new to report, because basically every day looks the same,” says Leonova with a laugh. At the moment her life is limited to “bus, arena, hotel”.

If they want to see each other, Leonova’s friend would also have the opportunity to follow her to one of the performance locations. However, she also keeps it to herself whether he is in the audience in one city or another.
