Limburg (dpa/lhe) – A 17-year-old stole his brother’s powerful car and was stopped by the police after a rapid drive through Limburg. The police said the car, which was driving much too fast, was reported on Thursday night. The 17-year-old almost knocked over two men who were able to save themselves by jumping to the side. The two pedestrians suffered minor injuries.
After about two hours, a patrol discovered the car and shortly thereafter stopped the car thief. According to the police, the speeder did not have a driver’s license. He stole his brother’s car keys and attached stolen license plates from Frankfurt to the car that had not yet been registered. After the arrest, the officers handed the 17-year-old to his father. The stolen car went back to the brother.
