Bad Arolsen (dpa/lhe) – During a traffic check, a 65-year-old tractor driver in Bad Arolsen suddenly fell over and died. Despite immediate resuscitation measures, the man could not be saved, the police said on Monday. He was checked in the afternoon between Twistetal-Twiste and Bad Arolsen in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district because the officers noticed defects in the tractor.
While the police officers were sitting in the patrol car and making a notice of defects, the 65-year-old suddenly fell over. The police officers immediately started with first aid measures, which were then continued by the alarmed rescue workers and the emergency doctor. The measures, which lasted about an hour, were unfortunately unsuccessful, the man died on the spot. The Kassel criminal police are now conducting further investigations into the cause of death.
