Kalbach (dpa/lhe) – When five vehicles collided on the A7 in Kalbach (in the Fulda district), two people were slightly injured. When changing lanes, a driver overlooked a truck and touched it, the police said on Friday. The car then skidded, damaged some warning beacons and came to a stop in the right lane.
According to the police, a semi-trailer truck driving in the left lane, followed by a station wagon and another truck, had to brake because of the warning beacons lying around. The 45-year-old driver of the last truck noticed it too late and drove into the station wagon. The 45-year-old and the 53-year-old passenger in the station wagon were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The A7 was completely closed for more than an hour for the time of the rescue work after the accident on Thursday evening.
