Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – Almost two months after the attack on a young man in downtown Frankfurt, the police identified three suspects. The crime had a homophobic background, the police said on Wednesday. A 22-year-old was insulted at the beginning of August, injured in the hand with a broken bottle and sprayed with pepper spray. The main suspect is a 21-year-old from Frankfurt, and a woman and a man, each aged 22, were identified as suspected accomplices. The police also tracked them down with the help of video recordings. The three suspects are now being investigated for insult and dangerous bodily harm.
