Korbach (dpa / lhe) – A good three weeks after a dead man was found in a burned-down caravan in Korbach, the man’s identity has been clarified. The prosecutor’s office in Kassel and the police said on Tuesday that the dead man was a 50-year-old from Korbach (Waldeck-Frankenberg district). It can be assumed that the man used the caravan as a place to sleep. The cause of the fire is still unclear and investigations are ongoing. This is made more difficult because the caravan was completely burned down, as a police spokesman said. Firefighters discovered the dead man while trying to put out the fire on the trailer.
