Marburg (dpa / lhe) – The University of Marburg has extended its tolerance of a climate protest by students in a large lecture hall. After a conversation between the presidium and the demonstrators, this was extended until Friday noon, the central Hessian university announced on Thursday. On Monday, around 30 climate activists began to occupy the lecture hall. With their campaign, they want to draw attention to climate change and, among other things, demand a turnaround in traffic and the move away from fossil fuels.
