Petersberg (dpa / lhe) – A driver was seriously injured in a collision between two cars near Petersberg (Fulda district). The 18-year-old came off the road on Saturday afternoon for reasons that have not yet been clarified, as the police announced on Saturday. As he steered his car back onto the road, he pulled into the oncoming lane and collided with an oncoming car, which rolled over. The 18-year-old’s car was thrown into an adjacent meadow. He had to be extricated and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The three occupants of the other car suffered minor injuries and were also taken to hospitals. 39 firefighters and several ambulances were deployed. The police estimate the property damage at around 15,000 euros.
