Bad Vilbel (dpa / lhe) – comedian Matze Knop finds it difficult to parody national soccer coach Hansi Flick. “He’s very moderate, so he doesn’t have a really blatant dialect,” said Knop in the current episode of the Hit Radio FFH podcast “Bulent’s crowning world of music” with host and comedian Bülent Ceylan. “Hansi always knows what he’s saying. You think to yourself: Good for him, stupid for a parodist.”
So far he has not yet had a flick parody in his repertoire, but that could change soon. “I always think a parody works well when you know someone really well,” Knop said. “I’ve made up my mind that a World Cup is a good time, then you’ll have it on TV and in interviews every day.” The World Cup will be played in Qatar from November 21st to December 18th.
