Asslar (dpa/lhe) – Several people were injured in a dispute between two larger groups in Asslar (Lahn-Dill district). There were also arrests, said a police spokesman on Monday in Dillenburg. The background to the argument is still unclear.
The police are on site with special forces. According to the spokesman, a helicopter was also used. There have been reports that one or more shots may have been fired. There are no other confirmed details about what is happening on site.
Around 20 people are said to have been involved in the conflict. According to the police spokesman, the injuries are not life-threatening. Some people were temporarily treated in the hospital.
