Eltville (dpa / lhe) – Two people were injured in an accident involving three cars on a federal highway in Eltville (Rheingau-Taunus district). A 19-year-old got into the oncoming lane on Thursday evening for an unknown reason, a police spokesman said on Friday. After grazing the car of a 59-year-old, she crashed head-on into another man’s car. The 50-year-old and the young woman were reportedly taken to hospital with minor injuries. All three cars were no longer drivable and had to be towed away. The police estimate the total damage at around 86,000 euros. “hessenschau.de” had previously reported on the accident.
