Freiburg (dpa/lhe) – The soccer women of Eintracht Frankfurt have landed their first win of the season in the Bundesliga after the opening draw against Bayern Munich. The Hessians beat SC Freiburg 4-2 (1-1) on Sunday and moved up to fourth place in the table with four points. The goals for Eintracht were scored by Laura Feiersinger in the 8th minute, Lara Prasnikar (52’/76′) and Shekiera Martinez (69′). Lisa Karl (36th) and Chiara Bouziane (77th) scored for Freiburg.
Eintracht could have celebrated more than once in the first half, but captain Tanja Pawollek and Barbara Dunst only hit the post. After the change, the Frankfurt women proved to be more efficient and earned three points in the end.
