Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – In the second quarter of 2022, 3.55 million men and women were employed in Hesse. That was 1.5 percent more than in the same quarter of the previous year, as the State Statistical Office announced on Thursday in Wiesbaden, citing preliminary data. Compared to the second quarter of 2019, i.e. before the outbreak of the corona pandemic, the number of people in work increased by 0.6 percent. According to the State Office, the information covers all employees, regardless of their position in the profession and regardless of working hours. It is the place of work that counts, not the place of residence.
