Wiesbaden/Friedberg (dpa/lhe) – Europe Minister Lucia Puttrich (CDU) no longer wants to run for the Hessian state parliament. The CDU district association Wetterau announced on Tuesday.

“Over time I was able to gain a lot of experience, design a lot and believe that the time has come to give new forces the opportunity to start politically,” said Puttrich on her decision not to go to parliament after next year’s state elections to belong

Before Puttrich, Interior Minister Peter Beuth (CDU), Environment Minister Priska Hinz and Social Affairs Minister Kai Klose (both Green) from the black-green coalition in Hesse had already announced that they would no longer run for a parliamentary mandate.
