Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – The federal police arrested the alleged thief of a wristwatch costing 150,000 euros at Frankfurt Airport. The 34-year-old is suspected of having ripped it off a man’s wrist together with a friend. According to the federal police, the theft occurred in Milan in May last year.
The suspect was therefore wanted with a European arrest warrant, arrested on Thursday when he arrived from Algiers at Frankfurt Airport and taken into extradition custody.
