Waldeck (dpa/lhe) – In the event of a fire in a family home in Waldeck in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district, the fire brigade rescued the 80-year-old resident with a ladder from the house. The woman was not injured in the fire on the first floor that night, police said on Wednesday. No other people were in the house. According to initial estimates, damage to property was around 70,000 euros. The cause of the fire was initially unclear.
