Frankfurt/Hanau (dpa/lhe) – The Frankfurt Public Prosecutor’s Office has brought further charges against suspected drug dealers from the Anom complex – this time before the district court in Hanau. According to information from Friday, five men from the Rhine-Main area are accused.

They are said to have traded cocaine and amphetamine on a large scale between December 2020 and June 2021. They used the tap-proof encryption service Anom and professionally equipped courier vehicles with electronically and hydraulically controllable smuggling hideouts.

Investigators believe the gang traded at least 111 kilograms of cocaine and 199 kilograms of amphetamine. The men and their encrypted chats were exposed in June 2021 as part of a global raid.

Last week, the public prosecutor’s office filed charges against eleven of the suspects arrested at the regional court in Frankfurt. These men are said to have traded tons of cannabis.
