Kassel (dpa/lhe) – Three garbage cans set on fire in Kassel caused damage of around 130,000 euros. A 28-year-old woman suffered from smoke poisoning on Wednesday night, as reported by the North Hesse police headquarters. She was taken to a hospital. Two of the three fires spread from garbage cans to house facades.

A further spread of the fires was prevented by rapid extinguishing, it said. A parked car, a scooter, street lamps and a street sign were also damaged. The criminal police assume that all three fires were started by the same previously unknown perpetrators.
