Darmstadt (dpa / lhe) – A smoke detector has brought the police on the trail of illegal cannabis plantations in Darmstadt. Several plantations with 80 plants were discovered in an apartment, the police said on Friday. The three alleged operators between the ages of 32 and 36 were identified, and the officials also discovered around a kilogram of drugs, several airguns and more than 30,000 euros in another building. The police were informed by the rescue control center last Tuesday because the smoke detector in the apartment had been triggered.
