Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) – Most of the Christmas trees imported to Hesse from abroad came from Poland last year. After all imported Christmas trees came from Denmark in 2019 and 2020, most of them came from Poland in 2021, at 6270, as the State Statistical Office announced on Friday in Wiesbaden. Denmark followed in second place with 5730 trees. A total of 12,050 Christmas trees were imported from abroad in December 2021. The Hessian statisticians do not yet have figures on the development of Christmas tree imports this year.
