Offenbach (dpa/lhe) – In Hesse, people can expect mild and stormy weather on Thursday. The day starts cloudy with some showers, as the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach announced. The temperatures rise to 9 to 13 degrees. According to the DWD, strong to stormy gusts are possible, especially in the mountains and in the middle and north of the state. During the night it rains at first, before it loosens up over the course of the day. Then fog is possible locally. Temperatures drop to 6 to 3 degrees.
According to the meteorologists, there are also many clouds on Friday. During the day it will remain mostly dry, in the evening the rain will return from the west. The wind is picking up again, with strong to stormy gusts to be expected, especially in the mountains. According to the DWD, severe gusts of wind are also possible in crests. The temperatures rise to 8 to 12 degrees. During the night it rains intermittently and it remains windy. The lows are between 10 and 6 degrees.
At the turn of the year on Saturday it will remain cloudy and rainy at times. The meteorologists predict unusually mild temperatures of between 15 and 18 degrees for New Year’s Eve.
